So, this morning I *finally* did, erm, most of the things I was supposed to do in November.
What I did was that first I decided upon which stage I wanted to replicate in terms of size. I went with Lund's City Theatre in the end. It's bigger and more well-known to my school. Then I went and found an online retailer for Foamboard and all the other things I'm going to buy, with the exception of LEDs. I'll get to LEDs later, and I can probably buy them in Sweden anyway.
Either way, I decided to buy Foamboard as well as a few other things from Antenociti's Workshop. Great place for your scratchbuilding needs, really recommend it.
The shopping list from there looked like this:
Foamboard x7 -
Plain Sheet Styrene Black x6 (2x 1mm, 2x 3mm, 2x 2mm) -
Lim x1 -
= 16.68£
+ 15.56£ shipping
= ~32£
Yup yup. Not too much now that you think about it, but it's enough. With these I can manage to build the least amount needed to get a result I'm willing to show my classmates and be proud of... though I hope that I'll be able to fix the whole thing.
Next was the models, and a new can of Black Spray Primer... From Firestorm Games!
Malifaux Showgirls Box Set - 24.30£
Malifaux Angelica - 6.30£
Army Painter Primer Black - 6.35£
= £37.35
+ 0£ Shipping
= £37.35
Welp. At least I got some sweet, free shipping.
I decided to add another mini because that gives me 7 in total, and with 7 I'm able to do a V-formation on stage, which I hope will look pretty.
All in all, these orders come in at about £70, which is about 750 SEK. Sigh.
I estimate that if I go all the way with LEDs, batteries and cables I will easily break the 100£ / 1000 SEK line.
But boy, it's going to be nice.
The only part left to do in November is to request for money at school.
