So, finally I have gotten hand of some material. I bought six sheets of Foamed PVC from Antenocitis workshop (I think they are A3 sheets, they are one size bigger than A4 Edit: - They are actually bigger than an A3). I even starter marking some lines of where to saw. However, I noticed something. My measurements were off, too small.
So after searching around I found out that Malifaux miniature are a little bigger than I though. After finding the picture below, I had a better shot of calculating scale as well as having asked some of the friendly folks over at the forum Dakkadakka.
I thank Bluedagger for having posted this picture online
Now, let's see. I personally own a Moderator (the unpainted miniature), and she measures exactly... 33mm high. Now, that pink-dressed showgirl is even taller, almost to the tip of the gun, which is 39mm up. This fits well with facts I have receive from Dakkadakka, that Malifaux measures between 35 - 40 mm.
For good measure, I'm gonna call it 38mm. That's 3.8 cm.
And that means that I have to crunch numbers again.
Let's say that the Showgirl is 175 cm high "in real life" (probably a bit shorter, but hey, she got heels...). 175 divided by 3.8 is 46. That means that the scale is 1:46.
Copying the measurements I've taken before...
Width:
Full - Min. Stuff - Window - Pants
1900 1700 1100 850
Width:

Finally, all done... Again. Every measurement in cm, and hopefully correct this time.
Wish me luck when I try to cut the PVC up.
